a nice add, if it's even possible, would be to hover the cursor over the image and just hit + or - to zoom in or out

i'd like to wrap up v0.2 for firebird before i do anything else. i'll have to do some research on making the extension work with both. until then, just use firebird ;-)
thanks for the feedback.

it would be great (but hard) if you could make it do a similar effect to (mouseOver zoom) when it detects a picture gallery

I apologize for the lack of updates/support for this extension. I've just been extremely busy the past few months (at work and at home). Unfortunately since it has been so long since I've worked on it, it's going to take me a bit to get back in the swing of working on it.

Why isnt this extension showing up in FF 0.9's Extension manager? How would I uninstall the extension?

the extension currently only works with 0.8 and below, I'll have to rewrite it for 0.9. You can try installing the Show Old Extensions extension that Pike made and see if that will help disable it:
Hope that helps.Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 1.0.3705) - [14] Submitted by: Martin C on Monday 12th July 2004 at 15:41 -0400

Excelent!! I was waiting for 0.9 compatibility... It worked great!
I think it works better than version 0.1: the pictures don't lose quality when enlarging.
Congrats!Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040615 Firefox/0.9 - [15] Submitted by: Julio Bracero on Thursday 15th July 2004 at 02:25 -0400

One of the cool things of the Opera web browser is that I could zoom in and out of both image and text. Your extension is incomplete until you add a keyboard shortcut, i.e. if CTRL + is for zooming in text, then shift + for zooming in on images. Or just integrate the both. Very nice, but like I mentioned, incomplete.

HELP ! I don't know if it'a bug, but I tried to install the v0_2 from my Thunderbird 0.5, I got an error ("Install **FAILED** with error -239" in the log) and now, a launch of Thunderbird fails with "A previous install did not complete correctly. Finishing install." and nothing more...

I've basically abandoned ImageZoomer since Image Zoom was released:
The dude has pretty much taken over everything that I had wanted to do with the extension, and then some.
I believe the version of ImageZoomer has been modified to work with newer versions of Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird though. Look for it on the extensions mirror:
